purchasing power is somewhat better as there are lots of income sources which are fiscally unregistered or simply coming from grey areas, rendering pp discrepancy higher than actual compared to well regulated places.

Very low salaries and most non perishable goods cost the same if not more than western Europe countries where the salaries are higher.
